The Motor Valley Tradition

The Motor Valley is the territory, which includes the areas of Bologna, Imola and Modena, where some of the most important car and motorcycle industries in the world, such as Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Lamborghini and Ducati, were born and still are located.
The tradition was born in 1939 when Enzo Ferrari founded the Auto Avio Costruzioni, the car production company that from then on would take the name of the founder.
Also in 1939 the Maserati, whose history had begun in 1914 in Bologna, moved to Modena following the acquisition by the Orsi family.
Two high-quality car manufacturers are thus sharing the territory together with all the small companies, the existing ones and the new ones, which then gave rise to the entire subsidiary.
