Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” is located in the center of Bologna, delimited by its ring roads, and closed to traffic every day. There is an electronic “SIRIO” system to monitor traffic. In order to avoid incurring penalties, you must follow the authorized itinerary we have prepared for you, taking care not to violate any traffic laws.

The hotel offers a dedicated valet parking service and full support for accessing the ZTL, ensuring a smooth arrival even during roadworks or temporary traffic changes.

Important: absolutely do not use the address of our property “Via dell’Indipendenza 8” on your GPS. Via dell’Indipendenza is totally pedestrianized, consequently it is mandatory to reach the Hotel side entrance in Via Manzoni 2 (Restaurant “I Carracci” entrance). 

As we are located in a Limited Traffic Zone in the city centre, transit is allowed for hotel Guests, but not quick stop and parking on the street.

Set the address “Via Galliera 23” on GPS, continue for about 200 meters.  Turn to the left in Via Manzoni and proceed until the end of the street. At approximately 50 meters from the end of the street, you will find our valet service ready to welcome and assist you. 

Via Manzoni is a pedestrian street, but the Hotel has a municipality permission for all our Guests.

You are not allowed to drive along Via Indipendenza, Rizzoli, Ugo Bassi, Archiginnasio, Piazza San Francesco, Via Antonio Bertoloni and on bus yellow lanes. Entrances ZTL to be used to reach us: Via Marconi.

Private parking is available at a location nearby (reservation is mandatory) and costs EUR 55 per day. Please contact the hotel in advance to reserve your spot in the hotel's private car park, which is limited in capacity.

Due to road diversions caused by the Tram construction works, the return time for your car may be longer than usual. We kindly invite you to take this into consideration when requesting your vehicle.

Drivers who bring guests to the hotel, or who need to reach the property for service-related reasons, must follow the designated route and provide the vehicle’s license plate number to the hotel reception upon arrival. The hotel will then forward the license plate information to the Municipal Police.
