By now a cult Gala show, Les Étoiles is a parade of the international stars of ballet, brought together to celebrate the great repertoire. Coming from major worldwide theaters, from the Opéra de Paris to the Royal Opera House in London, from the Bol’šoj in Moscow to the Mariinsky in Saint Petersburg, the stars on stage at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna perform in a refined and exciting program.
Pas de deux taken from the most famous nineteenth-century ballet works such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, alternate with precious rarities of the classical repertoire, solos, duets and extracts from the masterpieces of modern dance and the latest contemporary productions. A competition of virtuosity and prowess, a festival for the audience, in the name of the great ballet.
