William Hogarth

For the first time ever from 10 February to 28 April 2019, Bologna hosts a work by the famous English artist William Hogarth, the Portrait of a Lady in a white dress and pearl earrings, thanks to the collaboration with the Ghent Museum of Fine Arts. belonging to the emerging rich commercial bourgeoisie, for which he forged a new lexicon of English portraiture of the time.
