These artifacts are no longer "just" flags, but "ultra" -flags. They are transformed into something else, stratifying meanings: they are tapestries, rugs, sheets or tablecloths ...

No more identity banners but open narratives, which everyone can read and interpret in their own way. The project ended in spring (May 2019) with the installation of flags inside the place where they were created, the Neruda People's Space.

Lucio's house is located on the main floor of a fine Bolognese palace originally from the 1400s and visiting it, crossing its rooms, smelling its perfume, observing its objects, means making a journey through his life.

The exhibition is divided into two large sections, the first offering a moment of preparation for the "journey", bringing visitors to the knowledge of the Etruscan culture, exits, customs and history.

The photographs come from public and personal archives documenting the work, the variety of production and even the mobilization against the closure of the factory.

The initiative develops in synergy with the more complex Bologna metalmeccanic@ public history project promoted by the Clionet Association, University of Bologna, Fiom-Cgil Bologna, Museum of Industrial Heritage.

The Galleria de ’Foscherari was born in the early 1960s with a well-defined cultural program, made up of two souls: attention to tradition and interest in research and experimentation.

The exhibition set up at MAMbo follows the traditions of the gallery and aims to be a further contribution to its rich and long history and a tribute to Pasquale Ribuffo.

The program is divided into 20 Main projects and a Special project, including installations, performances and exhibitions. ART CITY White Night will not be missing, like every year: on Saturday 25 January the opening of numerous art galleries until midnight.

The exhibition aims to offer the public a synthesis of the variety of industrial production of those years, in which Bologna, starting from the 1950s, lives what is called “a Bolognese economic miracle“, with particular attention to the way of documenting photographically categories of objects and products very distant from each other.

The Carracci’s frieze will be in dialogue with 31 works of modern and contemporary art, coming from the collection of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, many of which have never been exhibited, for a transversal comparison between ages and styles, in search of thematic affinities or formal among the works.

From the wide-open arms of Domenico Modugno on the stage of Sanremo Festival '58 to those of Paolo Rossi on the night of Madrid '82 which consecrated Italy as world champion, the exhibition touches every aspect of social life, of costumes, of chronicles, of work and of changes in the ethical and moral beliefs of those years.
