The Museum of Industrial Heritage in Bologna presents the exhibition Bolognese motorbikes of the years 1950-1960. On display are 32 motorbikes of the most important brands of the past, correlated with films of the Istituto Luce and images that describe the glorious past of Emilian engines, between production and competition; in fact, it was in these years that, from the point of view of competition, the Italian and World Championships, national and international races, as well as cross-country road races, became the sporting events par excellence, the only ones able to ensure prestige and notoriety. In the 125 to 250cc class, Ducati, Mondial and Moto Morini excel, companies that can afford the high costs of racing teams.
